With a larger quantity, the processing time and the curing time are shorter!

If you have little experience, we recommend not processing the maximum amount at once.

If you still want to do this, work at 18°C with a large diameter mixing bucket and take into account a very short processing time!

Important: The higher the room temperature (>21 °C) and the larger the amount of casting, the lower the casting height should be. Epoxy resin reacts faster, especially in summer, which can lead to undesirable results.

With large quantities, such as 30 kg, overreactions can occur despite a reduced layer height. We therefore recommend pouring in two layers or using a resin system for larger layer thicknesses.

Note: Temperature, pouring volume and layer height are crucial for best results.

Make sure the surface is dense and non-porous. This can cause air bubbles in the epoxy. To do this, use a thin layer of epoxy or primer.

Always use protective gloves and goggles when handling this material. Process the resin at room temperature (18 - 25 ° C) and humidity of less than 70%. To avoid deformation of the surface, the temperature must remain constant throughout the curing process. Also avoid direct sunlight through a window and avoid drafts.

Mix the A and B components in the correct ratio (A : B = 100 : 33 by weight) and mix well. Allow enough time to mix (2 - 3 minutes) and make sure to include the corners and bottom of the mixing bowl. Optionally, pour the whole thing into a second bowl and mix again. Now add all the color effects and stir again. Allow air bubbles to escape for a minute. If necessary, help by vibrating / rattling the cup. Make sure the product does not get too hot!


The epoxy resin is now ready to use. Apply the mixture with a brush/roller or pour the mixture with a thin stream into the desired mold or prepared model.


Make sure to use a large-bottomed mixing bowl for larger quantities. Avoid a thick layer in the mixing bowl as this will heat up very quickly!

Removing air bubbles is best done with an epoxy deaerator or with a flame. Please do not use flames if you have diluted the epoxy resin with alcohol or other flammable products.

Wet on wet:

When pouring a second layer of liquid into a first layer of epoxy liquid, you need to make sure that the exothermic reaction is completely worn off. An exothermic reaction is a reaction that releases energy. In this case, heat.
If you want to be sure, wait until the second coat is no longer tacky but you still see a fingerprint in the epoxy.

Wet on dry:

The previous layer must be sanded and made free of dust and grease.

If you see that the resin component is white and flaky, then this is crystallized resin.

Crystallization of epoxy resin is a physical process caused by external factors such as cold or temperature fluctuations. It is fully reversible and is comparable to the freezing of water. The main causes are

1. Temperatures that are too low: crystals can form at temperatures below 15 °C during storage or transport.

2. Temperature fluctuations: The formation of crystals is driven by regular alternation between hot and cold.
High resin purity: Epoxy resin with high purity is more susceptible to crystallization.

3. Low viscosity: Resins with low viscosity tend to form crystals.

This reaction occurs at extremely low temperatures and can be reversed by a water bath (approximately 60 minutes/50 °C).

Simply place the sealed resin container in the water bath. Then allow the resin to cool to normal room temperature.
